I run a restoration shop — I've used a lot of blasters. These are the only ones who consistently hit a uniform 2-mil profile on sheet metal without warping the panel. That's not marketing, that's just the result.

A failed coating on our loading dock that three other contractors couldn't diagnose. PrecisionBlast found the moisture problem in about an hour and spec'd the fix. Fourteen months on, it hasn't moved.

We shut a production line for a Friday-through-Sunday window. They were on site Thursday night with the containment up, done by 2 PM Sunday, and the line ran clean Monday morning. That's the whole review.

Our tug needed a full repaint for the ABS survey and the waterline zone was heavily corroded. PrecisionBlast handled the chloride testing, did a two-pass blast, and coordinated with the yard schedule. Hull came back to bare metal clean. Work was ready a day early.

Municipal contract for a pedestrian bridge railing recoating. They came in at bid, hit their schedule, and the paperwork was complete on day one — no waiting on them for COIs or safety documentation. Public sector work is easier when the contractor is organized.

Sent them a set of original Fuchs wheels off a '73 911. The forging texture has to be preserved or the wheels are ruined — a lot of shops don't understand that. They used glass bead at reduced pressure and the wheels came back looking better than new. Photo documentation came with them.

We have strict sanitation windows and our production cannot stop. PrecisionBlast ran the dustless rig overnight three nights in a row, hit each window to the minute, and left the space cleaner than they found it. No dust in the adjacent packaging areas. That's what mattered.

Barge deck and coaming, in water, with the barge still working. They set up their mobile package on the deck itself, ran the full containment, and got us back to bare metal on schedule. COI and safety packet came over the same day we asked.

Pressure vessel exterior, high-temp coating had failed. They blasted to SP 5 with aluminum oxide, applied the phenolic the same shift, and had us ready for the shop hydro on day three. Good documentation on the profile readings.

Frame-off strip on a '69 Camaro. They found three areas of hidden prior damage that the previous two shops had covered up with bondo and paint. All three were documented with photos. When I eventually sold the car, that documentation went with the sale and it made the difference on the price.

They walked the job twice before quoting, then came in $4,000 under the next-lowest bid because they'd actually measured the surface instead of guessing. Job went smoothly, no change orders, no surprises at the end.

Machine builder side — we needed guards and panels coated in wrinkle black to match OEM finish. Twenty-two sub-assemblies arrived, coated in five days, all matching. The masking on the threads and bores was perfect. Nothing to clean up before install.

Structural steel on a school addition. Coordinated with the GC's schedule and the district's inspector without us having to chase anything. Turned over a completed coat, DFT log, and profile readings on day one of the next phase.

Dock piling work along a working wharf. The trick is timing — you can only blast above water when the tide is right. They scheduled around the tide window, ran the blast on a two-week shutdown, and left the pilings primed for the marine coating. Zero rework.

Our warehouse floor slab was never profiled — the previous coating installers applied epoxy directly over a sealed, power-troweled surface. It peeled in eight months. PrecisionBlast diagnosed the issue on the first walk, ground off the curing compound, shot blasted to CSP 4, and installed a proper system. Two years on, no issues.

Brought in a '72 911 with thin Italian sheet metal in the roof. Another blast shop had already warped one door skin. PrecisionBlast used soda at very low pressure and stripped the whole car without touching a panel. The roof, the doors, the fenders — all uniform bare metal. Should have come here first.

Overhead crane components came through during a planned plant outage. Bridge girder, end trucks, hoist frame — all blasted to SP 10 and recoated in-house. Delivered back to the plant on the schedule we'd agreed to three weeks out. No slippage.

Public-sector contract with a tight deadline. They held the schedule, delivered the documentation package, and worked with the school district's environmental requirements without pushback. Would bid them again.

Four-star only because it took three scheduling attempts to align our shutdown window with theirs — the shop was busy. The job itself was clean, fast, and on budget. Communication during the actual work was excellent.

Good work overall, and the documentation package was excellent. Only mild complaint is that the initial quote was on the higher side and the final number came in lower — which is fine, but the original quote could have been tighter if they'd spent an extra hour on site.
